Illustration Mentoring Masterclass with Alice Tait
Time: 1 HOUR
'Personal Illustration Mentoring Masterclass' is a one-on-one session with professional illustrator, Alice Tait.
Alice Tait is a leading British illustrator with over 20 years of experience. From editorial illustrations for Vogue, The Times and The Guardian, to book covers for Penguin and PanMacmillan, and children's books with Walker Books, Alice knows the industry inside-out!
Alice would love to share her wealth of real-life experience with you, to develop your talent and take your illustration career to the next level.
You can use this session to ask for tuition on any aspect of your illustration, such as developing a style, working on a specific drawing technique, or creating a memorable character.
If you are looking to build your illustrations into a full portfolio, then Alice can give advice on what subject-matter would work well with your style, and give you ideas for new projects.
Or, Alice can also talk you through what to expect from a commission, from giving examples of real-life illustration briefs, to tips on supplying roughs and dealing with 'feedback'.
The session is free-flow and will be tailored to your own needs, as well as a great chance to ask questions about the illustration industry.
Alice may give you tasks to help develop your illustration, which can be done in your own time after the session. If you would like Alice to review your new work, a follow-up session can be booked.
